Lutz, Florida Extended Family Session

I’ve known the Ezra family for over 10 years, so getting to photograph this extended family photo session for them was an extra special one for me. We managed to squeeze this in during the chaos of the holiday season, right between Thanksgiving and Christmas! But having the session right outside their home in Lutz, made it so much easier for everyone, especially with three families that had little ones to bring along.

In this quick session, we were able to get just the cousins together for a photo (ages 2, 1, 6 months, and 2 weeks) and not only were they all sitting together, but they were also looking at the camera and smiling! If you’ve ever tried to make that happen with four kiddos under two, you know how amazing that is. Everyone was thrilled, and honestly, so was I!

Not to mention that one of the families had just welcomed their first baby two weeks before the session! Stephen + Elisabeth, and their sweet new baby girl, definitely made this session a special one.

Family photography is always such a joy, but there’s something extra meaningful about extended family sessions like this one. Capturing all the love and connection in these big + small family moments is what makes being a family photographer so rewarding. Ezra family, thank you for trusting me to photograph this special time!
