Outdoor Extended Family Photos

Photographing the Gilcrease family during their extended family session near Tampa, Florida was such a heartwarming experience. This crew is seriously the best, and I was thrilled to be a part of this rare occasion. With their family spread out all over the country, it’s not often they get everyone together in one place, so being able to capture these moments was something really special.

The Gilcrease family is scattered from coast to coast. The newlyweds are living out in California, they have a son in the military who isn’t home often, and their kids with kids of their own are a couple of hours away in Georgia. This was the first time that they were all together, and they made the time and investment to get some family photos during a short holiday weekend. It was clear how much this meant to them, and you could feel the love they have for each other throughout the entire session.

What made this extended family session near Tampa even more special was that we were able to do it right outside their home. Keeping it nearby allowed them to enjoy even more time together, which was so important given how rare these gatherings are for them.
